Thank you for choosing Return To The Ring to sell your horse show clothes. Please include the Consignment Form with any clothes for consignment. Consigned items can be brand new or gently used. We sell a variety of show clothes suitable for those just starting their show careers to exhibitors competing at the highest level. Return To The Ring sells Western: horsemanship tops, rail shirts, showmanship and halter jackets, vests/vest sets, pants, chaps, complete show outfits and accessories (belts, hats, boots, saddle blankets, etc.) – English: jackets, shirts and breeches. If requested, we will facilitate the sale of Western and English Tack.
you receive 70% of the selling price for items over $100 & 60% for items $100 or less
Items should be clean and in good condition – free of rips, holes or stains. Return To The Ring reserves the right to refuse any item and it is the responsibility of the consigner to pay for shipping of any item which has to be returned to them. Once an item is approved for consignment, we will advise you of the Return To The Ring suggested selling price. We use the following criteria for pricing items: your suggested selling price, the selling price of similar items, the demand for the item, the manufacturer and the condition of the item. Return To The Ring will make every effort to sell your items through the website and at horse shows and horse-related events. Items posted on the website will include a picture and full description. As well, we will maintain an email list of prospective buyers who will be notified periodically when new items are added and special promotions.
The minimum consignment period is 6 months. If after 6 months your item does not sell at the agreed upon price – then a price adjustment may be necessary. Return To The Ring will contact you for approval of a price adjustment If after 9 months your item has not been purchased – you will be contacted to discuss a further price reduction, the donation of the item to an equine charity or the return of the item to you at your cost.
Once an item sells, Return To The Ring will mail you within 30 days a cheque for 70% of the selling price for items priced above $100.00 and 60% of the selling price for items priced $100.00 and below.
Items for consignment can be mailed or delivered in person. Check the Return To The Ring Show Schedule to see what shows we will be attending. I also show at all the Area 3 Quarter Horse shows and would be happy to accept your consignments at those shows. When possible, items can be picked up
